Changes to Forms 4506-T & 4506-C

The Internal Revenue Service released a new Form 4506-C last September that third party vendors will need to use to request transcripts on behalf of their clients/taxpayers. The previous 4506-T form is now exclusively for taxpayers to request their own transcripts directly.

The IRS extended its previous deadline for the change and we will continue to accept the old 4506-T forms until April 30, 2021. All Forms 4506-T received but not processed prior to May 1, 2021 will still be valid. Beginning May 1, 2021 only the new Form 4506-C will be accepted.
